Nissan four-door Smart based on scrapping


Hot on the heels of news that intelligent Pesnke have split comes word that the intelligent collaboration between Nissan's dead. Automotive News reports that the project, which was intended to produce a four-door model built from a platform of Nissan and sold under the banner smart, not going to happen. The reason is quite simple, if smart has gone his own way here in the U.S. fire, it would have needed at least one additional model to stay. Now that the network is part of Mercedes-Benz, that need has diminished significantly.
