Kia unveils Soul Flex salon Sao Paulo
It had been anticipated and that's it. The Kia Soul Flex looks like the first Korean vehicle FFV (Flexible Fuel Vehicle) that can run on ethanol-gasoline, ethanol or gasoline to 100% to 100%. It is specially designed for the Brazilian market where Flex models represent over 85% of new car sales. Kia had the commercial hollow nose.
Among the most notable differences compared to its thermal counterpart led by the 1.6 MPI, besides of course his appearance Flex Fuel, there adaptations for the injection of fuel, the catalyst system and the compression ratio.
This version is equipped with the 1.6 128 HP FFV whose consumption to 8.9 litres/100km. This new model will aim to enable Kia to continue to scrounge for sale in Brazil.
At the end of September, since the beginning of the year, the Korean manufacturer claims the sale of 40,865 units (a highly sensitive balance in terms of volume but contrasted with an explosion of 151% from last year).
For now Kia gives no information on possible variations of Flex Fuel or Cerato Sportage.
