2011 VW Rockton Transporter : Transportation for the rough - price and details
Rockton is based on the combination of the transporters. A Bodylift by 30 mm, a differential lock on the rear axle and the standard 4Motion all-wheel drive to enable use on unpaved roads. Suspension and damping have been strengthened. As standard, an auxiliary heater and an auxiliary heater in the passenger compartment and an air filter for use in dust-rich countries. The seats are upholstered in durable fabric. The van Rockton is powered by 2.0 liter TDI engines with 140 or 180 horsepower and comes standard with a six-speed manual transmission.
For the extreme off-road use is the 140-hp version of the T5 to Rockton with "Expedition" equipment available. It includes, for example, off-road tires, reinforced steel wheels and an off-road gearing. The optional "Protection" package for the Rockton and the variant with "expedition-equipment costs 3808 €. It features an underride protection for engine and transmission, fuel tank, sills, rear axle and the main silencer. With more specialized equipment to the Rockton can be tailored to almost any application.
The van Rockton is now available to order, prices start at € 41 109. The Rockton with "Expedition" package for hard use costs from € 50 563.
